Hey Ya'll
For those of you who are new around here WELCOME to the hot mess express and thanks for hopping aboard my crazy train of a life!
Here is a short bit about the lady behind the keyboard for you to get to know me a little better.
I am a 29 year old (however, my own mother is trying to push me to 30 faster then I would like) Stay at Home Momma to two sassy sisters who are 14 months apart in age. I would give a 0/10 on the recommendation scale for that one, but more on that later. I am 5 years married to the most amazing man and we are out here just trying to live our best life and raise decent human beings in a small suburb of WI.
I am a self made DIYer, making sh*t up as I go and hoping for the best outcomes. Crafting and creating aesthetically pleasing spaces in my home to share with others is what brings me joy these days. I also hold an RN, IBCLC licensure and practiced while serving in the Army before becoming a Mil Spouse post delivery of our first daughter. New parents, babes and Lactation will always be a driving passion of mine whether I am actively practicing or not. I believe all individuals deserve to be supported in their new journey into motherhood, because let's be honest, that is one HUGE shocker that no one is truly prepared for. I personally struggled and still do today with mental illness postpartum and I hope others in similar situations can find hope for better days in this safe corner of the internet.
There you have it. I swear to much, I eat McDonalds and my kids (and if we're being totally transparent, so do I) live in pajamas 90% of the time. I am just trying to survive one day at a time and keep all the breathing things I have been entrusted with in my life, by the Big Man Upstairs, alive. So far, I am doing a great job at that, almost 4 years strong with humans!
With all that being said, welcome to the most beautiful shitshow that is my life. I hope you come as you are and stay as long as you'd like. No one's life is more beautiful than your own, so always remember...
